On the afternoon of January 30th, Opportunity Fund’s community of supporters came together—in-person and online—for our annual Investor Meeting and an Open House to celebrate our new San Francisco office.
We think of our annual Investor Meeting as Opportunity Fund’s version of a bank “earnings call,” except that we aren’t interested in just highlighting our financial performance. Instead, we also focus on our impact—the degree to which our microfinance products are helping drive economic mobility for California’s working families.
The participants in this year’s Investor Meeting got a first-hand look at Opportunity Fund’s outcomes in FY2013, as well as a sneak peek at our big plans for the future. For full details, view the full presentation. And for the stories behind the numbers, check out our 2013 Annual Report: Opportunity Realized.
Directly following the Investor Meeting, we welcomed many new and old friends alike at our new office, located in the beautiful Shell Building in downtown San Francisco office. Community partners, clients, donors and staff enjoyed refreshments by our very own "Opportunity Funded" Rebecca Jean Catering. This branch office is primarily used by our marketing and development team as well as loan officers serving small businesses in and around San Francisco.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in person, and we look forward to hosting you at a future Opportunity Fund event.
