Last week, over three hundred friends, donors and supporters gathered to celebrate entrepreneurship and Opportunity Fund’s microfinance investments in California. The incredible night featured food from talented chef entrepreneurs, all of whom received an Opportunity Fund microloan to grow their business.
Taste of Microfinance is an important fundraiser, helping Opportunity Fund to close the gap between dreams and opportunities for the next 10 rising chef entrepreneurs in California. Together, we raised $44,000! Every dollar invested in Opportunity Fund produces ripple effects in the community. With community support, small business owners will now be able to hire more people, expand their businesses and contribute to the local economy.
Thank you to the Host Committee of last week’s party for your leadership in driving economic mobility in California – you are an incredible group doing amazing work!
