Opportunity Fund Welcomes Arteen Arabshahi to Southern California Regional Board of Directors

Opportunity Fund is pleased to announce that Arteen Arabshahi has joined the organization’s Southern California Regional Board of Directors. Arteen has a strong background in both the financial industry and social activism, and has impressed the board with his energy and drive for economic opportunity.

“It’s important that my work has meaning and makes a difference in shaping the lives of entrepreneurs and the economic health of my community,” said Arteen. “That’s why I’m so excited to join Opportunity Fund’s Regional Board. With my family’s background as small business owners, I believe strongly in the mission and aim to help bring their achievements to new heights.“

Named in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” as a rising star in the financial venture capital industry, Arteen has served Los Angeles’ entrepreneurs through Built in LA, Fika Ventures, Karlin Ventures, and now WndrCo. He has also been selected for Business Insider’s 30 and Under and CSQ’s Next Gen 10. also has participated in the Wells Fargo Advisors Visiting Professorship.


Arteen attended the University of Arizona, where he graduated with honors earning a BSBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship, a BS in Finance, and a BA in Entrepreneurship.


In addition to his outstanding professional background, Arteen is heavily dedicated to activism. He is a member of the Eller College National Board of Advisors, a volunteer for To Write Love on Her Arms, a global shaper for the World Economic Forum, and the former head of sponsorships and development for TEDxLA and TEDxVenice Beach.
