Visit a local business and meet the entrepreneur whose dream was funded by a microloan. Then taking a walking tour through the San Francisco Mission District to see more "Opportunity Funded" local businesses. This is your chance to see microfinance happening right here in your own backyard and get involved to make a difference. Learn about the microlending process and what it takes to make these "tiny loans" so that you are a trained Opportunity Fund ambassador in the community, helping us reach more microloan borrowers in need of a helping hand.

CEO Eric Weaver is invited to participate in the first-ever CGI America convening where he'll be learning and sharing how microlending is scaling & producing jobs! Also, Opportunity Funded entrepreneur, Simonida Cvejic, will address the audience during the Clinton Global Initiative Opening Plenary with President Bill Clinton. Simonida, CEO of Bay Area Medical Academy, will share how she combined her entrepreneurial drive and leveraged Opportunity Fund microloan investments to create jobs and train hundreds of people each year for careers in the medical field.
