Last week, one hundred and seventy friends, donors and supporters gathered to celebrate entrepreneurship and Opportunity Fund's microfinance investments in Southern California. The incredible night featured food from talented chef entrepreneurs, many of whom received an Opportunity Fund microloan to grow their business. 

Taste of Microfinance is an important fundraiser, helping Opportunity Fund to close the gap between a dream an opportunity for 1,200 entrepreneurs in Southern Californian this year. Together, we raised $48,125—just shy of our bold goal of $50,000. Every dollar invested in Opportunity Fund produces ripple effects in the community. Because of the support of people like you, small business owners will now be able to hire more people, expand their businesses and contribute to the local economy.
